The UK Government (represented by the Department for International Development
(DFID) is commissioning the design of a new hospital on the island of Montserrat. The
project will be delivered through the Montserrat Capital Investment Programme for
Resilient Economic Growth (CIPREG). Under the programme, the UK Government will
provide up to �30 million over five years (2018-2023) for strategic infrastructure
development on Montserrat, to support economic growth, enhance resilience
against natural disasters and promote the role of private sector.
Forthcoming Term of Reference (ToR) details will outline the requirements for a
Consultancy to undertake a review of the 2014 preliminary designs of the island�s new
hospital, and develop an outline design against agreed specifications for a new
hospital to be placed at the existing Montserrat Glendon Hospital site in St Johns.

The Government is seeking value for money through this procurement, which will be
advertised on the Government of Montserrat website and through the e-sourcing
portal (mytenders). The tender award will be made on the basis of the most
economically advantageous tender and evaluation criteria, over the full period of
the contract.
